Interactive Storytelling Website

“Sincerely, Earth.” is made for those in their early adolescence to learn about climate change in an entertaining way. We started this website with the purpose of spreading awareness and introducing solutions to climate change, and along the way have added interactions, art, music and a story. We found that online and in textbooks, science-related topics can be quite information-heavy, however, our site can be used by science educators to teach students or even by those just interested in climate change to learn in a more easily digestible way.

Figma Prototype Demonstration

In a group of four, we are redesigning the user interface of a popular flashcard mobile app AnkiDroid. The process begins with the paper prototype, low-fi prototype and to this medium-fidelity prototype. Please enjoy this Figma prototype video, and feel free to get in touch with any questions.

A-frame VR Museum

In a group of five, we made an interactive museum tour of one of Canada’s most influential artists Emily Carr. Through interactive virtual reality, users will be guided through one of her most well-known paintings "Kitwancool", fully recreated in 3D space on their mobile or desktop device. We use A-frame libraries with JavaScript, to implement interactive features on our Web VR. Maya for 3D object and Substance Painter which will provide us with realistic textures. The video below is trimmed, to watch the full presentation please click "Learn More".

Online Ordering System

In a group of two, we made a restaurant website for customers to order food and
make reservations online. The restaurant's name is Ideal. The global pandemic has taken a massive impact on the business market, and more restaurants have started doing online orders and take-out deliveries. This inspired us to explore the online ordering system more in-depth and learn more about object-oriented design.
